Doug Morrow

Starting out as a Philosophy major, Doug ended up graduating from

Antioch College a very long time ago with a degree in Urban Design/New

Town Development… wanting to save the world by building futuristic

cities (there was something odd about him even then). Unfortunately,

the demand for experimental new communities faded fairly quickly, and

he ended up as an architect for much of the early part of his career.

Eventually, he moved on to playing in the dirt, and has been working as

a Construction Manager for the last 15 years. He just completed

overseeing the renovation of a $110 million middle school in Hershey,

PA.

Doug has been accused of talking his wife, Nancy Hall (more on her

elsewhere), into writing the Stargate Charter Application, although he

denies it vehemently. However, he will admit to helping her once she

got started, and assisting in the selection and preparation of

Stargate’s first home at Eastlake.

Intimately knowledgeable of, and involved in, the development of both

Stargate and a new charter school for gifted students (Infinity CS)

near their home in Harrisburg PA, Doug has a number of traumatic

memories and battle scars he will be happy to share with the interested.
