Nancy Hall 


Ms. Hall has a B.A. in Elementary Education, an M.A. in Gifted


Education, and a certificate in Education Administration. She have over


20 years experience in teaching and administration, from Pre-K through


college level. She has designed and worked in pull-out programs, as


well as self-contained programs for gifted students. Ms. Hall and her


husband created a charter school for gifted students in Colorado, which


she ran for five years. Ms. Hall has also worked as a consultant in


gifted education, including coordinating the start-up of a charter


school for highly gifted students in North  Carolina. Nancy is a member


of the state gifted association and past president of the Teachers of


the Gifted Association (TOGA). Ms. Hall was chosen for an Achievement


in Teaching Award at the University of Northern Colorado Laboratory


School and won the Teacher’s Choice Award for Excellence in Classroom

This is an opportunity for parents, studentsor educators to think about what the high school options are for eighth graders and also toget a first person perspective on what High School life is all about for Stargate students.
Stargate: The Beginning - a Q & A, with Nancy Hall, Doug Morrow and Roger McPherson
will hopefully answer questions and satisfy curiosity about what the educational and community environment was like in the early years of the school. Nancy and Doug are the authors of Stargate's charter proposal and Roger served as the initial Chair of the Organizing Council and Governing Council of the School.
